Claire Romey

Claire Romey is a sophomore at St. Paul Central High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she plays cello in her school orchestra and is a member of the diving team. She also plays with the Minnesota Youth Symphonies and was the continuo cello for a December performance of Haydn’s Missa Sancti Nicolai. Last summer, she traveled to New Orleans to assist local citizens with the continuing restoration of the city following Hurricane Katrina. Claire performed the role of Sam-I-Am and Gertrude McFuzz with Maria Jette at the 2008 Oregon Bach Festival, and will present both works later this spring with Maria in Minneapolis. In addition to acting, she loves travel, sports, animals and miniatures.
