Jennifer Munday

Jennifer Munday has been a member of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s first violin section for over 20 years.
She attended the University of Southern California, where she studied with Eudice Shapiro. Munday has performed chamber music and soloed with the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, as well as at the Casals, Oregon Bach and San Luis Obispo Mozart festivals.
Munday has also worked regularly with Bach specialist Helmuth Rilling. She has toured and recorded with Rilling and the Gächinger Kantorei Stuttgart, the distinguished vocal ensemble that he formed in 1953 in the small village of Gächingen in Germany’s Swabian mountains.
Munday is married to Kenneth Munday, the principal bassoon of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra. She lives with Ken, son Nick and daughter Marika in La Crescenta.
