Currently, Stuart Horn is on the faculty of the University of California, Santa Barbara where he teaches oboe, oboe d’amour and english horn. In addition to LACO, he performs regularly with a variety of ensembles throughout Los Angeles and Santa Barbara including the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, the Los Angeles Opera and Southwest Chamber Music. He has performed both as soloist and in festival orchestras with the New Music America, Ojai, Summerfest La Jolla, San Luis Obispo Mozart and Holland Festivals.

As a solo artist, he has performed English horn player on concerts and tours throughout the world, including for Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli and the Three Tenors.

He is on the faculty for the California State Summer School of the Arts and holds his MFA from the California Institute of the Arts.
