MOZART Symphony No. 38 in D major, K. 504, “Prague”
ADAM SCHOENBERG Scatter (West Coast premiere)
MENDELSSOHN Symphony No. 3 in A minor, Op. 56, “Scottish”

Come hear the “thrilling music-making” of “French wunderkind” Alexandre Bloch. He brings energy and enthusiasm to Mozart’s inventive “Prague” Symphony and matches the fire of Mendelssohn’s “Scottish.” For Scatter, LA-based composer Adam Schoenberg (no relation to Arnold!) taps the vibrancy of genre-defying ensemble Project Trio. It’s a program sure to put a smile on your face!

pre-concert program

Concert Preludes are fun, informative and free to all ticket holders.

Join us one hour before each concert in the theatre. Some Preludes feature LIVE performances of short chamber works. All provide interesting insights into the music and the artists.
