Jeffrey Kahane has led the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra as music director with remarkable dedication, brilliance and gusto. During the course of his distinguished tenure, Jeffrey and our gifted LACO musicians have reached thousands of Los Angeles elementary-school students through their music, commissioned and premiered dozens of innovative new works and, through their incomparable interpretations of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, established LACO as “America’s finest chamber orchestra.”
