LACO’s family concert series opens the door for kids to enjoy this magical sound world now and for the rest of their lives. Purchase your subscription online.
Let LACO share the joy of music with the young people in your life with these interactive concerts and fun activities.
Recommended for children 5 years and older.
1 pm – 2 pm: Kids get to bang, pluck, bow and blow on real instruments at our popular Instrument Petting Zoo and enjoy fun-filled pre-concert activities, themed around the music, with Kidspace Children’s Museum and our concert partners.
2 pm: The concert begins. Our short programs are designed to introduce kids to the wonder of classical music. Each concert includes an opportunity for young ones to ask questions of the musicians.
Didn’t get your question answered at the concert? Check the Kid’s Eye View blog on Tuesday after the concert to see if we found an answer.
Forget to write down a question at the concert? Write one in the comments section of the Kid’s Eye View blog and we will try to get you and answer.
Want to teach your kids more about classical music in a fun and interactive way?
