LACO’s family concert series opens the door for kids to enjoy this magical sound world now and for the rest of their lives.
Let LACO share the joy of music with the young people in your life with these interactive concerts and fun activities.
Recommended for children 5 years and older.
1 pm – 2 pm: Kids get to bang, pluck, bow and blow on real instruments at our popular Instrument Petting Zoo and enjoy fun-filled pre-concert activities, themed around the music, with Kidspace Children’s Museum and our concert partners.
2 pm: The concert begins. Our short programs are designed to introduce kids to the wonder of classical music. Each concert includes an opportunity for young ones to ask questions of the musicians.
Listen to Jeffrey Kahane give an overview of this great series on the podcast page at laco.org.
