infinite enchantment

Imagine. Glistening gossamer and chimerical creatures evoked by the power of ethereal music. In this season-opening concert, LACO performs colorful works in a program of pure enchantment. Mendelssohn’s charming interpretation of a Shakespearean classic meets Jalbert’s powerful contemplation on the mystifying universe. Just barely in her 30s, major international star Leila Josefowicz dazzles in Prokofiev’s Concerto, and conductor Julian Kuerti and the Orchestra weave a magical spell with Haydn’s whimsical Symphony. In the words of the brilliant Bard, this concert is “such stuff as dreams are made on.”
