spring first chair musicale 2012
The First Chair Society is a group of individuals who significantly contribute to the ongoing success and stability of the Orchestra. Thanks to the dedication and support from our First Chair donors, LACO brings you exciting concert series and unique opportunities, such as our Westside Connections concerts, headliners and fresh new guest artists, as well as Meet the Music, our education program of over 20 years, free to participating LAUSD schools.
One of the donor benefits is attending a musicale at a private home or location throughout the Los Angeles area. On April 29, 2012, Stephanie Rasines and Richard Norton opened their beautiful home built by the Greene and Greene brothers, and Ann Moore Mually co-hosted the event. Christopher Hawthorne, Los Angeles Times architecture critic, gave an introduction to the house and LACO principal flute, David Shostac, performed.
