40th anniversary LACO CD
In celebration of the Orchestra’s 40th anniversary in the 2008-09 season, Yarlung Records has released a new album of live performances. The CD features the legendary Sir Neville Marriner as he returns to conduct the Orchestra he founded 40 years ago. The album also highlights current music director Jeffrey Kahane as conductor and pianist. The CD also features a world premiere recording of Pierre Jalbert’s Chamber Symphony.
