LA-native John Rubinstein is a prolific film and television actor, director, composer and Tony-award winner (Children of a Lesser God). The son of the legendary concert pianist Arthur Rubinstein, he faced the challenge of finding his own voice in Hollywood. The Romantic works of Rachmaninoff, Chopin and Brahms are an homage to the legacy of father and son. Guest pianist and From the Top host Christopher O’Riley joins LACO music director Jeffrey Kahane and LACO virtuosos Margaret Batjer and Andrew Shulman.
