For over three centuries, violins made by Antonio Stradivari have been considered the pinnacle of craftsmanship, design and tone. The Huntington and the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra are excited to present a scholarly evening led by KUSC executive producer & host, Gail Eichenthal in the Thornton Portrait Gallery. This is a private, by invitation only event during Strad Fest LA, the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s four-day celebration of the visual and aural history magic of Antonio Stradivari.

Introduction by Kevin Salatino, Hannah and Russel Kully Director of the Huntington Art Collections.
Additional insights from Peter Beare, UK Luthier and Stradivarius Expert.
