Shout olé! Cho-Liang Lin shines in the Argentine-influenced work based on the tango of the composer’s homeland. Schifrin, whose career spans the concert hall, film and television, received a Grammy for his Mission: Impossible TV score and Academy Award® nominations for movie soundtracks such as Cool Hand Luke and The Competition. LACO principal flute since 1975, David Shostac shows off his “dazzling skills” (Reviewplays.com) as composer and soloist.
