Jacquie Blew

Jacquie Blew is a native Angelino, born and raised in Hollywood. She received her AA degree from UCLA. Jacquie began volunteering for Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in 1989. She became a LACO subscriber in 1991 and was named the box office associate in 1997. Prior to joining LACO, Jacquie worked with the Los Angeles Philharmonic from 1974 to 1985. She retired as the youth activities director and producer of Open House at Hollywood Bowl where she worked on the children’s morning programs now called Summer Sounds. From 1986 to 1988 Jacquie worked for The Joffrey Ballet and Ambassador Auditorium in group sales.

Jacquie has been a choral singer and soloist for most of her life and in addition to her classical music interest, she also enjoys traditional jazz. Jacquie married Robert W. Blew in 1975. She has three daughters and six grandchildren. She loves to travel, especially to see her grandchildren in Washington, Colorado and North Carolina.
