LACO musicians and music director Jeffrey Kahane bring to life music of the great French composers as only the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra can.

Édith Piaf’s songs of love, loss, and, ultimately, perseverance, made her a star the world over and secured her a place forever in the French songbook. Special guest Anne Carrere, star of the international touring revue PIAF!, channels “The Little Sparrow” with emotional and authentic interpretations of Piaf’s classic songs in this special performance.
LACO Board Chairman K. Eugene Shutler’s long-time, generous support of the Orchestra began in 1982. Serving continuously on the LACO board of directors since 2002, Gene also has been active in philanthropy and community affairs, serving as a Director of the Constitutional Rights Foundation for nearly 20 years, and an active member of the Penn Southern California Regional Advisory Board.
