Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Season launches with a free community concert held at the California Plaza Water Court. Presented in partnership with Grand Performances and The Colburn School, this concert features Venezuelan-born maestro Carlos Izcaray who will provide commentary in both English and Spanish.

Carlos Izcaray is Music Director of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra and of the American Youth Symphony. Praised by the international press, he won top prizes at the 2007 Aspen Music Festival and later at the 2008 Toscanini International Conducting Competition.

Our inaugural 50th Anniversary Season concert will also be livestreamed on facebook.
