Celebrate Earth Day with LACO! Revel in the sounds of the great outdoors with performances of Ives’ Symphony No. 3 “The Camp Meeting” and Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony No. 6. Also on the program: a different perspective on what it means to be outside, as violist Masumi Per Rostad vividly recreates New York’s Lower East Side in fellow NYC-native Jessie Montgomery’s L.E.S. Characters, a LACO co-commission.
