A recent graduate of Northwestern University, Taylor Lockwood is thrilled to be joining the LACO team. Raised just outside of New York City, Taylor grew up surrounded by classical music.
Lockwood attended both the Manhattan School of Music and the Juilliard School for voice. She received her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University; it was there she began her opera company, the Undergraduate Company of Opera Singers (UCOS), which focused on giving young, undeveloped voices opportunities to sing in operas at their vocal maturity level. UCOS is now a Northwestern-sanctioned organization run by and for its undergraduate student body. Before coming to LACO Lockwood worked as a stage manager in Los Angeles.
