Taylor Lockwood

Taylor Lockwood

operations & community programs coordinator

A recent graduate of Northwestern University, Taylor Lockwood is thrilled to be joining the LACO team. Raised just outside of New York City, Taylor grew up surrounded by classical music. She cultivated her love for classical music as a student of The Juilliard School’s pre-college program and she received her Bachelor’s degree in classical voice. In the last year, she moved to California to pursue working in the unique and ever-changing classical music scene in Los Angeles.

Outside of classical music, Taylor freelances as a stage manager for theatre and opera companies such as Chicago Folks Opera, UCOS, Northwestern University and Capital W. Her love for live performance led to the creation of her own opera company, the Undergraduate Company of Opera Singers. The company was recently approved as a Northwestern University official student organization, and performs two operas a year around the greater Chicago area.

Taylor is excited to get to work with LACO on all special events in the coming new year.
