LOS ANGELES CHAMBER ORCHESTRA’S
2016-17 “CAMPUS TO CONCERT HALL” ALL ACCESS SEASON PASS,
ONE OF THE BEST BARGAINS IN THE CITY,
TWENTY-FOUR CONCERTS FOR JUST $30
Opportunity knocks for savvy college students ages 17 to 30 who take advantage of one of the best bargains in the city, known as Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra’s (LACO) “Campus to Concert Hall All Access Pass,” which provides admission to twenty-four LACO concerts during its 2016-17 season for just $30. For just $1.25 per ticket, fortunate pass-holders attend performances at some of Southern California’s leading venues, including all eight of LACO’s Orchestral Series concerts at either Glendale’s Alex Theatre or UCLA’s Royce Hall; three Westside Connections programs, offering an exploration of masterworks through the prism of “Music: The Mirror of Time,” at Santa Monica’s Moss Theater; and five Baroque Conversations programs, with repertoire from early Baroque through the pre-classical period, at downtown LA’s Zipper Hall. As an added bonus, the All Access Pass includes access to performance after-parties to mingle with musicians; advance reservation privileges; and the option to reserve up to three additional tickets at just $12 each for college friends (valid college ID required). This popular student pass, offered for the sixth year, has served to build appreciation for classical music among younger audiences.
“Our ‘Campus to Concert Hall All Access Pass’ makes it affordable for students to attend multiple performances for substantially less than the cost of a movie, or even a latte,” says LACO Senior Director of Advancement & Strategic Engagement Lacey Huszcza. “Although LACO offers Student Rush tickets at $12, the ‘All Access Pass’ makes tickets even more affordable and easy to reserve in advance.”
LACO’s long history of educational outreach encompasses programs integral to its mission of nurturing future musicians and composers as well as inspiring a love of classical music, and it places particular focus on bringing students inside the concert hall to experience the Orchestra’s live performances in world-class venues.
More information on the “Campus to Concert Hall All Access Pass” is available at laco.org/college, where students can purchase it online.
