We are very happy to announce that supporters of Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra have met the $125k anonymous challenge that was announced in November 2019 as part of our #GivingTuesday and end-of-year fundraising campaign.

“It is thanks to all the donors who participated – the new donor who gave $1, the donor who gave tens of thousands, and everyone in between,” wrote LACO Board Chair Leslie Lassiter to LACO supporters last week. “We have come a long way toward our goals for the 2019/20 season.”

Ruth Eliel, LACO’s interim Executive Director, says the momentum gained from the anonymous challenge grant cannot be underestimated.

“The results of our challenge grant have been astounding,” asserts Eliel. “It is a superb example of what is possible when our LACO family comes together.”

Hundreds of donors contributed to LACO’s $125,000 matching opportunity which ran from Dec. 3 to 31.
