Newly appointed LACO trumpet Erick Jovell

The Orchestra and Music Director Designate Jaime Martín are extremely excited to welcome trumpet player Erick Jovel to the LACO family!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Erick is an active freelance musician whose versatility ranges from orchestral to jazz and other commercial music.
He has performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony and the Malaysian Philharmonic. Erick serves as professor of trumpet at The Masters University and Loyola Marymount University. He is also trumpet teaching artist for YOLA at EXPO Center.
