Thanks to a generous leadership gift from Terri + Jerry Kohl,  LACO will be the first ensemble to perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall since it was temporarily shuttered more than a year ago due to the pandemic.

Attendance at the concerts will be limited, and LACO will observe all city, county and venue safety protocols. Audience members – composed of LACO-invited friends and family, vital community partners and others who have helped the Orchestra weather the pandemic – must have proof of vaccination.

“I am so happy to once again be able to perform with LACO for in-person audiences,” says Music Director Jaime Martín. “We are also pleased to be able to share this music with audiences around the globe through our SummerFest digital series.”

LACO performs at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Saturday, June 26, 7 P.M., with Martín on the podium conducting Alberto Ginastera’s Variaciones concertantes and Juan Pablo Contreras’ Mariachitlán. Martín concludes the musical journey with Mendelssohn’s evocative Symphony No. 4 in A major, “Italian.”

This invite-only concert is a special thank you to LACO’s donors, subscribers, and community members who have been so supportive throughout the pandemic. Members of the public may also enter a ticket giveaway for a chance to win a free ticket to this in-person event. Tickets are limited.

Participants must be fully vaccinated to be eligible and opt into communication from LACO so we can keep you up-to-date on the sweepstakes. Invited audiences will also include longtime subscribers, donors, and community partners.
