As a chamber musician, he collaborated with clarinetist Ralph Williams in the premiere recording of David Lefkowitz’s Canonical Variations, released on the Albany Records label. The highlights of his work in chamber music include performances locally with Jacaranda, Hear Now Music Festival, Classical Revolution, the Beverly Hills International Chamber Music Festival, and the Helix Collective. He has premiered the concert works of notable Los Angeles composers including Bruce Broughton, David Lefkowitz, Paul Chihara, Mark Carlson, Roger Bourland, Haim Shtrum, and George N. Gianopoulous.

In other musical fronts, Dr. Sacdalan has recorded for numerous TV and motion picture soundtracks including Star Trek: Discovery, Star Trek: Picard, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Star Trek: Lower Decks, The Orville, Fargo, Umbrella Academy, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Ice Age 6, Encanto, Christopher Robin, The Bubble, The Adam Project, KIMI, The Lost City, and others. His playing can also be heard on the latest albums by Barbara Streisand and Michael Bubblé. 

Dr. Sacdalan holds a DMA and MM degree from the UCLA and a BM from the California State University, Fullerton. He is the recipient of several scholarships including the Léni Fé Bland Music Scholarship, the Kent Atwater Music Fellowship, and the Ebell Music Scholarship. He has taught masterclasses for the Los Angeles and Ventura School Districts, Cerritos College, and at the Superior School of Music of Lisbon, Portugal. In 2010 he published his doctoral dissertation titled The Secret (Musical) Lives of Hollywood Film Composers. While not performing, he is a devoted clarinet instructor with Harmony Project and the LA Philharmonic Youth Orchestra LA Initiative, both organizations providing-no cost music education to low-income or underserved urban youth in Los Angeles.
