a tuneful afternoon

This past Sunday, families took a musical journey with PROJECT Trio, Jacomo Bairos and LACO through several original PROJECT Trio works and selections from Copland’s Appalchain Spring. The dynamic ensemble kept everyone on the edge of their seats with delight and answered a sea of questions after the performance.

Children had the opportunity to meet PROJECT Trio and Bairos after the concert, as the ensemble signed cds and happily posed for photos with their young fans.

Pre-concert, Autry National Center, Kidspace Children’s Museum, Pasadena Conservatory of Music and YMCA of Glendale partnered with LACO to present a series of activities that included the popular Instrument Petting Zoo and hand-made box harps.

Click here to see photos from the sunny afternoon concert, or read more here about the series.

Tickets are still available to the next two performances, Fool for Dance and Mozart & Me that feature new pre-concert activities and music the entire family can enjoy.

Stay tuned for the answer to our post-concert question!
