about Alex Theatre
Since 1925, the Alex Theatre has been a Los Angeles area landmark. Designed by architects Charles R. Selkirk and Arthur G. Lindley, the Alexander Theatre, as it was originally known, opened its doors as a vaudeville and motion picture house. Featuring Greek and Egyptian motifs, the Alex Theatre is not only an important example of the grand theatres of the early 20th century; it also provides a strong sense of identity for downtown Glendale, California.

about Royce Hall
Like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, Royce Hall is one of America’s great concert halls, distinguished not only for its impeccable beauty and refined acoustics, but also for the ghosts of performances that haunt it. As the main performance venue for CAP UCLA, Royce Hall has been providing something other than just the standard cultural menu for many years.
From Sunset Blvd, enter the north side of campus at Royce Drive (between Westwood Plaza and Hilgard Avenue). Proceed straight ahead to Parking Structure 5. From Structure 5, cross the footbridge to Royce Hall.
All event parking is $12 for the 2014-15 season (rate subject to change). Effective January 1, 2010, visitors who use a Department of Motor Vehicles issued disabled person (DP) placard or license plate to park on campus will be charged a $5 daily fee.

about Zipper Concert Hall
The Herbert Zipper Concert Hall at The Colburn School was completed in 1998, making it about 70 years younger than LACO’s other two regular concert venues. It seats approximately 400 and has among the best acoustics of music performance venues in Los Angeles. LACO’s compact disc on Deutsche Grammophon featuring Hilary Hahn as well as two cds featuring Jeffrey Kahane in recital were recorded in Zipper Concert Hall.
Parking is available across the street at Walt Disney Concert Hall for $9 (rates subject to change).

about Ambassador Auditorium
Known as the “Carnegie Hall of the West,” Ambassador Auditorium hosted 20 seasons of the world’s best musicians and performers from 1974 to 1995. Its magnificent walls have reverberated with the sound of applause from millions of concertgoers, while achieving a world-renowned reputation as one of the world’s finest performance halls.
Parking is available at the Elks Lodge lot @ $10. Entrance to the Elks Lodge parking lot is off Green Street (corner Orange Grove Blvd) although the listed street address for Elks Lodge is 400 W. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena. For those with mobility issues, a shuttle will be provided from/to the Elks Lodge lot.

about Moss Theater
LACO’s Westside Connections chamber music series moves to the new state-of-the-art 344-seat Ann and Jerry Moss Theater at New Roads School located in The Herb Alpert Educational Village in Santa Monica. This year, the innovative LACO chamber music series invites you to take a look at the connections between music and architecture.
Parking is available at The Ann and Jerry Moss Theater. The entrance to the parking lot is located on Olympic Blvd., after S Centinela Ave. The driveway entrance is marked with an orange sign that says “New Roads School”. Spaces in the parking lot are limited, but street parking is also available on Nebraska Ave after 6 pm.
