KUSC Kids Discovery Day is a kid-friendly celebration of all things classical. Wall-to-wall performances by top-notch Los Angeles performers — including L.A. Orchestra fellows Sydney Adedamola, Ayrton Pisco, Bradley Parrimore and Juan-Salvador Carrasco — will waft through the beloved North American Mammal Hall.
There will be hands-on fun at the LA Phil Affiliates instrument Petting Zoo and Los Angeles Opera’s arts and crafts table, where kids can craft their own Operasaurus Helmet. Children and their parents can also take in a session of Anatomy of a Violin 101, led by expert technicians from Metzler Violins of Los Angeles.
KUSC will be broadcasting live from right outside the Dueling Dinos Foyer from 9 am – 1 pm.
Say hi to hosts Brian Lauritzen, Jennifer Miller, and John Van Driel!
