Ms. Jackson is a freelancer up and down the West Coast, and is also Executive Director of the Archipelago Collective.

Her orchestral experience includes playing under the batons of conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, James Conlon, and Leonard Slatkin, and sharing the stage with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Mitsuko Uchida, Emanuel Ax, Yefim Bronfman, and Yo-yo Ma. 

As a soloist Dana received the Honorable Mention prize in the finals of the esteemed Gillet-Fox bassoon competition held at the International Double Reed Society convention in New York City, and won the Francis Walton Competition, hosted by the Ladies Musical Club of Seattle. Ms. Jackson gives regular solo and chamber music performances in the Seattle area, including a recent feature on 98.1 KING FM, Seattle’s classical radio station.

Ms. Jackson holds degrees from the University of Southern California, Northwestern, and the Colburn School.
