Pianist HyeJin Kim, “one of Korea’s most thrilling young classical stars,” joins LACO and Music Director Jaime Martín for an unforgettable performance of Gershwin’s sweeping Rhapsody in Blue. Symphonic works from the romantic and modern eras cap this program, including Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5 and Schoenberg’s second Chamber Symphony.
Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue is made possible, in part, from a generous contribution from Hilda Hererra Adler.
