Reginald Mobley Countertenor
Paul Merkelo + David Washburn Trumpets
Meditate on sorrow, forgiveness, and the divine feminine as countertenor Reginald Mobley interprets Vivaldi’s rendition of Stabat Mater. Stroll through England in good company with songs by Purcell and Dowland before hearing Handel’s Eternal Source of Light Divine, written for Queen Anne’s birthday in 1713. Baroque trumpet features throughout, including a commissioned double concerto.
