These are exciting times for the South Bend Symphony and for Justus Zimmerman!

Zimmerman joined LACO three years ago and led the Orchestra’s Marketing team as Director of Marketing + Communications for two years. While at LACO, Zimmerman oversaw a successful digital transformation, a strategic rebrand and the launch of the critically acclaimed SESSION series.

“The South Bend Symphony Orchestra is on the rise, and we believe that Justus Zimmerman will help us maintain our positive momentum,” said Tim Maher, President of the South Bend Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors. “Justus has performed at a high level in a very challenging market and equally impressed us with his person-to-person skills.”

“Thank you all for a truly incredible 3 years,” says Zimmerman. “I could not have asked for a better orchestra to call home, and I am proud of the work we have done together on the stage and in the community.”

Zimmerman couldn’t be more excited to call South Bend home and will be joined in South Bend by his wife Liz, and daughter Aslyn.
