Four Larks is a Downtown LA-based creative collective led by Director Mat Sweeney & Designer Sebastian Peters-Lazaro. LACO cello player Giovanna M. Clayton is a familiar face in the Hollywood music scene, performing live and recording with artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, James Brown, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and more. Violist Diana Wade enjoys a richly varied musical life that she is cultivating in Los Angeles. Cristina Montes Mateo is currently Solo Harpist at the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana in the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofía, an orchestra created by Lorin Maazel and conducted also by Zubin Mehta, Valery Gergiev and Riccardo Chailly. She has also been Principal Harp with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Chris Stoutenborough was appointed second clarinet of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in 2011. He performs frequently with orchestras in Southern California, including the LA Phil​ and Pacific Symphony​. He is a former member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic​.

A Blackburn pendulum is a device for illustrating simple harmonic motion. A bob is suspended from a string that in turn hangs from a V-shaped pair of strings, so that the pendulum oscillates simultaneously in two perpendicular directions with different periods. The bob consequently follows a path resembling a Lissajous curve; it belongs to the family of mechanical devices known as harmonographs. A harmonograph is a mechanical apparatus that employs pendulums to create a geometric image.
